NPC Member Karna Small Bodman:
Book sales rocket after Limbaugh call-in.

In June, 2009 Bodman called into the Rush Limbaugh show and chatted on the air for 20 minutes about her work for Reagan. The conversation ended with a plug for the book. Limbaugh posted a transcript on his website with cover art and a link to "Buy Karna's Book." Within hours she made hundreds of sales.
By the next day, her first two novels, CHECKMATE and GAMBIT, hit "#1 and #2 in Thrillers" on Amazon.

Dr. Phil Jason elected to the
Naples Gem Society.

The award was presented to Dr. Phil Jason by Vice Mayor, City of Naples, Penny Taylor.

The Naples Gem Society was created to provide permanent recognition of these Gems for their dedication, devotion, time and unselfish acts that benefit all those who live here in this place we all call paradise.

Dr. Philip Jason who joins an illustrious group of past recipients including, but not limited to, Lorenzo Walker, Former Naples Daily News Publisher, Corbin Wyant and Myra Daniels of the Naples Philharmonic and Naples Art Museum, Jack Mehaffey, journalist and philanthropist; and our own: Rhona Saunders, Bert Kaplan, Johnny Nocera and Arthur Hecht
