Photographer Clyde Butcher signs book after a presentation held by the Naples Press Club March. 5, 2009 at Rookery Bay.
After an overview of his career and current projects, Butcher talked about environmental issues facing South Florida. After being asked about what local citizens could do in the preservation effort, it was evident that he has made a change in focus, saying that to combat global warming, citizens should change to LED lighting and install energy-saving air-conditions, all to reduce energy consumption. He pointed out that, with ocean levels set to rise a foot by 2025, saving the Everglades won't matter if it is underwater. Martin Miron

A New National Media List
added to Website
A new comprehensive and somewhat exhaustive list of members of the National
media has been added to our website.
As it contains names, addresses, phone fax and e-mail information of many high
profile media folks, it has been put in the member's only section of the
website. So to access it you will have to sign in. Enjoy. If you have additional
information that can be added to the list please e-mail your friendly
neighborhood webmaster.
FAQ's - A New Website Feature
With the
introduction of this revised website there are a number of new features that
have caused some difficulties for some members. In order to reduce the number of
e-mails our webmaster has to answer, we have introduced a new page called FAQ's
(Frequently asked Questions). These questions and answers were developed as a
result of the number of similar e-mails from several members. So before you
e-mail our webmaster with your question, check the FAQ page first. It can be
accessed ONLY from the Home page by a button that is found in the navigation
area at the moment. Or you can click here.
